Methodology
How we evaluate and write about care
Our editorial process is designed around verifiable facts, cited sources, and clinical review — not marketing claims.
Provider evaluation criteria
- Board certification with a recognized authority (e.g., CMCPER in Mexico, ABPS in the US).
- Hospital-based operating environment with anesthesiology and ICU capability.
- Documented case volume in the specific procedure discussed.
- Transparent complication and revision policies.
- Publicly verifiable accreditation status.
Content sourcing
Clinical statements cite peer-reviewed literature, specialty-society guidance (ASPS, ISAPS, ASAPS), or public-health bodies (WHO, CDC). Institutional descriptions are labeled as Hospital Cyntar / Ariel Center–reported.
Update cadence
Educational pages are reviewed at least annually or when guidelines change materially. Each page displays a last-reviewed date and reviewer byline.
