How clinical content is evaluated for medical accuracy and patient safety.
Educational content describing surgical procedures, techniques, candidacy, risks, and recovery is reviewed by a board-certified plastic surgeon prior to publication, and is periodically re-reviewed.
Review Criteria
- Medical accuracy and current surgical standards
- Patient safety and informed-consent considerations
- Balanced discussion of risks, benefits, and alternatives
- Readability and clarity for non-medical audiences
- Absence of guarantees of specific outcomes
